கிறிஸ்துவ மத வியாபரியான சர்ச்சைக்குரிய மோகன் லசாரஸ் என்ற மத வெறியன், கிறிஸ்துவ மத வெறி கூட்டம் ஒன்றில், தமிழகத்தின் தொன்மை வாய்ந்த கோவில்களை சாத்தான்களின் அரண் என்று கூறி மத கலவரத்தை தூண்டும் விதமாக பேசியுள்ளார்.

இந்தியாவிலேயே வேறு எங்கும் இல்லாத அளவிற்கு தமிழகத்தில் தான் மிகவும் தொன்மை வாய்ந்த பெரிய பெரிய கோவில்கள் உள்ளன. அவை அனைத்தும் சாத்தான்களின் அரண் என்று கூறியுள்ளார். கிறிஸ்துவ மத வியாபாரி பேசிய அந்த காணொளி சமூக வலைத்தளங்களில் வைரலாகி வருகிறது. இந்துக்களின் மனதை புண்படுத்தும் விதமாக பேசிய கிறிஸ்துவ மத வெறியனை காவல்துறை கைது செய்யுமா என்ற கேள்வி எழுப்பப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
