Sculptures of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao his Telengana Rashtriya Samithi party's car symbol that are constructed on the pillars of famous Yadadri Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple
Subhash, Telengana Bajarang Dal convener said that
"We issue condemnation to the Telangana State government for their
objectionable act. Chief Minister Chandrasekara Rao's picture, Telengana
Rashtriya Samithi party symbol car and government initiative pictures are
carved on the pillars of historic Yadadri Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple
under the pretext of temple’s development and reconstruction."
"There are nearly 5,000 symbols carved on the
pillars of this Yadadri Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple. CM KCR cannot project
himself as god. This act is not only a direct insult to the Hindu community but
also an insult to the god", Telengana Bajarang Dal convener Subash said.
"State government with an immediate effect should make
an intervention and remove the carvings of Chandrasekara Rao's picture and
Telengana Rashtriya Samithi party symbol car on the pillars of the temple
because it's a holy place. If they don't remove the carvings then, our protests
will intensify," said Subhash.
Such activities of a political party trying to use temple premises for its promotion had shocked many common Hindus and had hurt their sentiments.
