Indian intelligence have given warnings about plans of global terror organizations such as Al-Qaeda and ISIS to launch attacks on Jewish and Israeli communities in India.

The agencies have given alerts to the states having considerable Jewish population about the possible attacks. Three Jewish holidays are present in September and October, from Rosh HaShanah (Jewish New Year) which runs through September 29 and October 1, Yom Kippur (the holiest day in Judaism) is celebrated on October 8 and 9 and the festival Sukkot will be celebrated between October 13 and October 22.

Indian intelligence has got inputs from the spy agencies of other countries about the plans of global terrorist organizations to attack the Israeli embassy in New Delhi. The places where Israelis live in high density and the places where they pay frequent visits are also on the target.

Intelligence also say that terror organizations are extremely desperate to launch attacks on Israelis living in India after Israel showed its support to India regarding the scrapping of Article 370 that provided special status to Jammu and Kashmir. "Al-Qaeda and terrorist cells affiliated with IS are looking to mount attacks on Israeli targets worldwide. In view of the same, the possible targets in India may include Israeli Embassy in New Delhi, synagogues, Jewish schools, restaurants and hotels frequented by Israeli nationals in New Delhi and other cities," says the input as reported by the New Indian Express.

The intelligence agencies have given warnings to local police and local intelligence unit to undertake the necessary, preventive and precautionary measures to prevent such attempts by the global terror organizations. Security has been increased outside the residences of Israelis and Jews, Israeli and Jewish institutions, and Chabad Houses in Delhi to thwart terror attacks.
