Fresh Raids by NIA in Coimbatore relating with terrorists infiltrating Tamil Nadu

National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials are conducting raids at five locations in Coimbatore.

The raids are happening from morning 5 am in five places of Coimbatore including Coimbatore Ukkadam, Karambukkadai and Bilalnagar. Officers of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) are conducting raids at the houses of Umar Farooq, Janaabar Ali, Sameena Mubin, Mohammed Yasir and Saddam Hussein. Following reports of Islamic terrorists infiltrating into the state of Tamil Nadu, the investigation is also based on the connection of these people with the infiltrated terrorists.

It is reported that the first raid was conducted in Janaabar Ali's house in Vincent Road, Coimbatore. It should also be noted that others were already raided by NIA and were investigated.
