New IAF Chief says India is prepared to carry out Balakot like air strikes in future

Bhadauria succeeded BS Dhanoa as the Chief of Air Staff on Monday after the
retirement of BS Dhanoa from the post. BS Dhanoa led the IAF during the famous
pre-emptive Balakot airstrikes that destroyed Jaish-E-Mohammed’s terror camps
in Balakot. The new IAF chief RKS Bhadauria said that the force is prepared for
any similar challenges in the future.


After assuming the post of IAF Chief, he spoke to reporters and
said, "We were prepared then, we
will be prepared next time. We will be ready to face any challenge, any
threat."


When he was asked about the recent reports about the reactivation
of Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camps destroyed by Balakot airstrikes in Pakistan he
said, "We are aware of the reports
and we will take necessary action as and when required."


He
also said that the Rafale Fighter Jets will act as a game changer in the Indian
Air Force. He also said that his first priority of the modernization of Indian
Air Force including all budget constraints. He also aired his views on Pakistan
PM Imran Khan's warning of a nuclear war, the new IAF chief said, "That is their understanding of
nuclear aspects. We have our own understanding, our own analysis. We will be
ready to face any challenge."
