People who drive without helmets should pay Rs.1000 fine every month

"Motorists who don't wear helmets will be soon fined with Rs.1000", says Chennai traffic police.

Motor Vehicles amendment act that was passed in the parliament few weeks back will be implemented soon. If this law is implemented, those who don't wear helmets will be fined with Rs.1000.
