Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy called for greater investments in the fields of Urban Infrastructure, Housing and Green Energy

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy has told UK parliamentarians that Tamil Nadu is the pioneer state in implementing medical insurance schemes. Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy also emphasized about the high investment potential in Tamil Nadu in sectors such as urban infrastructure, housing and green energy.


Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy has visited the UK capital London as part of a 3-nation tour to attract industries and investments to the state of Tamil Nadu. The other two nations of his foreign visit are US and Dubai. He visited the medical department of the reputed King's College in United Kingdom. Edappadi Palanisamy in his speech said that a branch of Kings Hospital will be set up in Tamil Nadu and the Government of Tamil Nadu will provide complete support to it.


Also, Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy on his discussion with the MPs in the UK Parliament stated that Tamil Nadu is one of the state having best doctors and nurses in India and also emphasized about the large scale free medical care that is being provided in the state. Chief Minister also pointed out that the primary health centers are operating throughout the day for 24 hours in Tamil Nadu.


Chief Minister Edappadi Edappadi Palanisamy said that the state government also planned to implement medical technologies that is being used in United Kingdom in Tamil Nadu. The Chief Minister briefed on the health schemes that is being implemented in Tamil Nadu and called for much higher investment in Tamil Nadu in areas such as urban infrastructure, housing and green energy. Health Minister Vijayabaskar and various secretaries were present along with the Chief Minister.
