"No first use nuclear policy may change in future depending on circumstances" - Defence Minister Rajnath Singh

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday made a statement that India may see a major shift in its policy of using nuclear weapons. Rajnath Singh told that India’s current nuclear policy is "no first use policy" but added that it may change in the future depending on the circumstances.

In his talk at an event in Pokhran, Union Defence minister Rajnath Singh said, "Till today, our nuclear policy is 'No First Use'. What happens in future depends on the circumstances."
