"Not a single drop of water will be wasted" - Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy

Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy said that during the monsoon season, rainwater harvesting is necessary and measures are being taken to make sure that no single drop of water will be wasted.


MS Swaminathan Research foundation in Chennai is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy and Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam inaugurated the seminar on climate change and prosperous growth.


Then, Deputy Chief Minister O.Paneerselvam released the company's 30-year research book. Then, he heaped praises on MS Swaminathan's research as it is vital for the development of the agricultural industry and farmers.


This is followed by Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy releasing the annual report and policy statement of the Swami Nathan Research Foundation. He praised Swaminthan as a world- acclaimed agricultural scientist. Speaking on the issue of water, the Chief Minister said that the civic work is going on well with the hydropower project. Then, Chief Minister also told that steps will be taken to make sure that not a single drop of water will be wasted in the upcoming monsoon.


Subsequently Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy and Deputy Chief Minister O. Pannirselvam visited the Agricultural Production Exhibition.
