Pakistan's International Court of Justice Lawyer dumped Imran Khan in Kashmir issue
Prime Minister Narendra Modi government’s
decision to cancel special status to the former state of Jammu and Kashmir had
created a big setback to Pakistan’s ambitions on Kashmir. Pakistan’s Prime
Minister is continuously trying to internationalize this Kashmir issue and
failing in his every attempt to do so. He even wrote a propaganda article in
the New York Times but the article created zero impact on this issue.
The recent statement of Pakitan's attorney in
the International Court of Justice (ICJ) has created more problems to the
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. Pakistan’s International Court of
Justice lawyer Khawar Qureshi, while speaking in a debate on a Pakistani TV
channel, had made a statement that Pakistan doesn’t have solid evidence to
support its claims of Indian genocide in Kashmir.
"In the
absence of such evidence, it is extremely difficult for Pakistan to take
this case to the ICJ," said Pakistan’s ICJ Lawyer Khawar Qureshi.
Pakistan recently had issued a threat that it will
approach the International Court of Justice after failing in every attempt to internationalize
the Kashmir issue in the United Nations.
Recently, the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra
Modi and USA President Donald Trump happened at the G7 Summit in France and at
the meet US president Donald Trump supported India in Kashmir and agreed that
Kashmir is a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan without any room for
any other country or party to interfere. This statement from the American
President was also seen as a big setback for the Pakistan.
