Security strengthened throughout India including Tamil Nadu after the scrapping of article 370
Following the abrogation of article 370 and article 35A, the Home Ministry has advised security agencies across the country to be cautious and more active.
The Home Ministry issued ordered to all state chief secretaries, police directors and Delhi police commissioners, private security organizations and law enforcement agencies, to be on high alert.
All Tamil Nadu police departments in Tamil Nadu have been ordered to be more cautious and engage in more surveillance and strengthen security.
The move is said to have taken place as protests could take place in various parts of the country as a result of scrapping of article 370. Order is also issued to monitor public places and religious places of worship. 4 additional DGPs are engaged to directly monitor these issues.
