Shocking : A gang of 3 including a DMK member have abducted, attacked and threatened an IT professional in Chennai

A gang of three, including a DMK member, abducted a young man working in a leading software company in Chennai and extorted Rs 10,000 from him.

Srikumar residing at KK nagar, Chennai is working in a leading software company in Tambaram. He has lodged a complaint to KK Nagar police station against a gang of three who allegedly abducted him and extorted money from him.

Srikumar has booked a two-wheeler ride in Rapido App to go to Vadapalani. Reportedly, it was raining heavily then. The complaint states that 3 people who came in the luxury car at that time, spoke to Srikumar and forcibly loaded him into the car. According to the complaint, three people in the car suddenly attacked him and threatened him with a knife and extorted Rs 10,000. The complaint also alleges that he was threatened to provide 50,000 rupees in cash after they took off his pant and clicked a picture.

After Srikumar lodged a complaint at the KK Nagar police station, Police investigated with the help of CCTV footage and arrested three persons including driver Saravanakumar, DMK member Virugambakkam Thamilchelvan and auto driver Manikandan.
