West Bengal man suspected to be in association with Mujahideen terrorists arrested by NIA in Chennai!

West Bengal man suspected to be associated with Mujahideen militants has been arrested by the West Bengal Police and NIA officials in Nilangarai, Chennai.


Sheikh Abdullah from West Bengal was searched by the West Bengal state police for a case. Sheikh Abdullah came to Chennai and started living in a rented house in Nilangarai. The West Bengal police came to know this information and arrived at Chennai to arrest him and sought the help of Tamil Nadu police.


Meanwhile, NIA officials have reportedly discovered that Sheikh Abdullah had links with Mujahideen militants who were involved in the 2013 bomb attack in Bodhgaya, Bihar. Following this, NIA officials and West Bengal police arrested Sheikh Abdullah, who was hiding in Nilangarai, Chennai.


He is then brought to the NIA office in Guindy, Chennai and are being investigated. According to reports, he is scheduled to appear in court at Chennai and he will be taken to West Bengal after obtaining permission from the court.
