4 people including a DMK member raped a mentally challenged girl for seven months! Four arrested under POSCO act!

It has come to limelight that four persons, including a DMK member, have raped a 14-year-old mentally challenged girl in Trichy district for the past seven months. The girl's parents are illiterate and are laborers. She was taken care by her grandfather when her parents go to work.
Few days ago, her mother found out that the girl was pregnant, so the traumatized mother took her to the nearby health center. The girl was taken to Trichy government hospital and the doctors after examination confirmed that the girl is 6 months pregnant.
Following this, the police was informed along with the district child protection officers. A complaint was lodged at the Jeeyapuram police station by the authorities and the girl's stepfather. Police investigating the girl have revealed shocking reports. 57 year old Milkman named Muthu, 51 year old Tea-Shop owner Selvaraj, 45 year old Petrol Bunk worker Ramaraj and DMK's district Farmers wing member and DMK Panchayat council member Selvaraj have raped the girl child for past seven months. These four are booked and arrested under POSCO act.
