DMK MLA's son tests positive for corona, area cordoned off

The Harrington road in Nungambakkam, Chennai has been cordoned off by the police and Chennai Corporation. Reason? A young man living in the area who tested positive for COVID-19 was admitted to Apollo Hospitals for treatment. The man is the son of a DMK MLA from Chennai.

Sources say that the man who tested positive for the virus at Sivaganga travelled to Chennai. It is yet to be confirmed whether the man violated the lockdown norms. He has been admitted to the Apollo Hospitals after showing symptoms of the virus. In light of this, the Harrington Road has been sealed by the police and corporation. Contact tracing of the man is being done currently.
