பாகிஸ்தானின் அரசுத் தொலைக்காட்சியான PTV சமீபத்தில், ஜம்மு-காஷ்மீர் பகுதிகள் இந்தியாவில் இருக்கும் வரைபடத்தை ஒரு குழந்தைகள் நிகழ்ச்சியில் ஒளிபரப்பினர். பாகிஸ்தானியர்கள் சமூக வலைத்தளங்களில் இதற்கு கொந்தளித்து வருகிறார்கள்.

PTV management has taken strict notice on the human lapse resulting in the airing of incorrect image of Pakistan map. The MD PTV has said that the organization has zero tolerance for such negligence and has assured that strict action will be taken against the responsible.

உண்மையில் கில்கிட் மற்றும் பால்டிஸ்தான் பகுதிகள் உட்பட ஜம்மு-காஷ்மீர் மற்றும் லடாக் முழு யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களும் இந்தியாவின் முழுமையான பகுதிகளாகும். இதை இந்தியா பல முறை தெளிவாக நிரூபித்துள்ளது
PTV சர்ச்சைக்குள்ளாவது இது முதல் முறையல்ல. முன்னொரு தடவை, பாக்கிஸ்தான் பிரதமர் இம்ரான் கான் சீனாவுக்கு சென்றிருந்தார். அவர் பேச்சின் போது செய்தியில் பெய்ஜிங் (Beijing) என்று எழுதுவதற்கு பதிலாக அவர் begging (பிச்சை எடுக்க) சென்றிருப்பதாக கூறி வம்பில் மாட்டிக் கொண்டது. (இம்ரான் கான் உண்மையில் கடன் பெறவே சீனா சென்றிருந்தார் என்பது வேறு விஷயம்)
