Madras High Court has given an order to Tamil Nadu government to respond to a petition filed by Rajiv Gandhi assasination case Nalini, who is asking one more month extension of her one month parole.
Nalini has filed a petition for a six-month parole for her daughter's marriage, and the Madras High Court gave her permission for a month's parole on May 5. Nalini was subsequently released on parole during 27th July.
Tamil Nadu government rejected her plea of extending her parole for a further month as her parole period is going to end soon.
As she is unable to finish her daughter marriage arrangements, she filed a plea for a month's extension of parole. Justicle Sundaresh and Justice Nirmal Kumar have ordered the Tamil Nadu government to respond to her by day after tomorrow.
