"Steps are taken to establish smart classrooms in 90,000 schools" - KA Sengottaiyan

Tamil Nadu state Minister of School Education, KA Sengottaiyan had said that various steps are being taken to implement smart classrooms in 90 thousand schools across the state.

Tamil Nadu teacher who received national award for the best teacher met the Minister of School Education, KA Sengottaiyan and received his wishes in Gobichettipalayam, Erode District. The minister then addressed the reporters and expressed his concern about the involvement of few teachers in sexual harassment and then stated that the unpleasant activities of these teachers give a bad name for even the good teachers. Sengottaiyan also said that stern actions will be taken against teachers who are involved in sexual offenses.

The Minister said that the cameras are installed in the 11th and 12th standard classrooms of the schools. He also added that the methods to implement the same model for other classes and the funds required are being discussed with the Chief Minister.
